Policy

1. Overview

This Refund Policy applies to all products and services purchased through roxzone.training or via the Strivee platform, operated by Pedro, Jorge, Paulo & Rogério, Lda (NIPC PT516657151), trading as RoxZone.

All purchases are processed through Strivee. Refund requests must be submitted to us directly at info@roxzone.training — not through Strivee's platform.


2. Digital Content — Your Right of Withdrawal (EU/EEA Customers)

Under EU Directive 2011/83/EU and Portuguese Decree-Law 84/2021, consumers in the European Union and EEA have the right to withdraw from a digital content purchase within 14 days of the purchase date — unless the digital content has already been accessed or downloaded.

By completing your purchase and accessing your training plan, workout content or any digital material on the Strivee platform, you expressly consent to the immediate supply of digital content and acknowledge that you lose your right of withdrawal from that moment.

This is a legally permitted exception under EU consumer law (Art. 16(m) of Directive 2011/83/EU).

In practice:
  • If you purchase a plan and do not access it within 14 days → you are entitled to a full refund upon request
  • If you purchase a plan and access any content → the right of withdrawal is waived and no refund is due

3. Subscription Plans — Hybrid Base and Hybrid Elite

3.1 General

Subscription plans (Hybrid Base at €35/month and Hybrid Elite at €75/month) are billed on a recurring monthly basis via Strivee. Access to content begins immediately upon purchase.

3.2 Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time through your Strivee account. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. You retain access to the plan until that date. No partial refunds are issued for unused days within an active billing period.

3.3 Refunds

No refunds are issued for subscription payments once the billing period has commenced and content has been accessed, except where required by applicable law as described in Section 2.

3.4 Annual subscriptions

If you purchase an annual subscription and have not accessed any content, you may request a full refund within 14 days of purchase. After 14 days or upon accessing content, no refund is due.


4. One-Time Training Plans

One-time plans (including Young Stars, 10K Running Programme and any future fixed-duration plans) are non-refundable once purchased and accessed, in accordance with the digital content exception described in Section 2.

If you purchase a one-time plan and do not access it within 14 days of purchase, you may request a full refund by contacting info@roxzone.training.


5. Coaching 1:1 with Vasco Garcez

5.1 Monthly coaching

The 1:1 coaching programme is billed monthly at €130/month. Given the personalised nature of the service — which begins immediately upon programme start with the preparation of your individual plan — no refunds are issued once the coaching programme has commenced.

5.2 Cancellation

You may cancel your coaching programme at any time by contacting info@roxzone.training with a minimum of 7 days notice before your next billing date. No charges will be made after the cancellation date.

5.3 Pre-commencement refund

If you have paid for a coaching month and your programme has not yet started (no plan has been prepared or delivered), you may request a full refund within 14 days of payment.


6. Free Trial

Where a free trial is offered, no payment is taken during the trial period. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, your subscription will automatically convert to a paid plan and the standard refund policy above will apply.


7. Exceptions and Extraordinary Circumstances

We understand that exceptional circumstances occur. In cases of serious illness, bereavement or other significant life events, please contact us at info@roxzone.training and we will review your situation on a case-by-case basis. We are not obligated to issue refunds outside the terms above but will always try to act reasonably.


8. Technical Issues

If you experience a technical issue that prevents you from accessing content you have paid for, please contact us immediately at info@roxzone.training. We will work to resolve the issue promptly. If a technical fault on our side prevents access for a sustained period, a proportional credit or refund may be issued at our discretion.


9. Chargebacks

If you initiate a chargeback or payment dispute with your bank or card provider without first contacting us to resolve the issue, we reserve the right to suspend your account and access to all RoxZone content pending resolution of the dispute.


10. How to Request a Refund

To request a refund where applicable under this policy:

  1. Email info@roxzone.training with the subject line: "Refund Request — [your name]"
  2. Include your full name, email address used for purchase, date of purchase and reason for the request
  3. We will respond within 5 business days
  4. Approved refunds will be processed within 14 days to the original payment method via Strivee

11. Consumer Rights

Nothing in this Refund Policy limits or excludes your statutory rights under applicable consumer protection law. EU and EEA residents retain all rights granted under EU Directive 2011/83/EU and applicable national law. UK residents retain all rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
